Kimberlym Martinez
Legal Assistant / Spanish Interpreter

Kimberlym was born in Huehuetenango, Guatemala and migrated to the United States when she was nine to live with her father in Morton, MS. When she arrived in the U.S., Kimberlym didn’t speak any English. However, with the help of teachers and friends at Betty Mae Jack Middle School in Morton, MS, she spoke English fluently by sixth grade.
Kimberlym graduated from Morton High School in 2014. Two weeks before her high school graduation, she began working as a salesperson at her local Fred’s store. After a year, Kimberlym was promoted to assistant manager. In addition to her work in the retail industry, Kimberlym also helped people from her community by interpreting at hospitals, clinics, and even school.
Kimberlym started working with Elmore & Peterson in 2016 as a receptionist and currently serves as a legal assistant and Spanish Interpreter.
