Brunilda “Bruni” Franco was born in Mission, TX to a Mexican immigrant mother and a Texan father. Her mother made and sold tamales on the streets of Mission, Texas, to supplement the family income, and this gave Bruni the inspiration to study hard to be able to help her mother. Now, Bruni resides in Rankin County with her daughter, Jaznelly.

At three years of age, Bruni, her mother, and siblings moved to Morton, Mississippi, where her mother found work at Koch Foods in the housekeeping department. She grew up in Scott County, Mississippi where she attended public schools and graduated from Morton High School. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, spoken and written.

Bruni followed in her mother’s footsteps, she went to work at Koch Foods after High School where she worked as a clerk in the Human Resources office. She was the youngest in the company but she was able to help with the Hispanic workers maintain a good relationship with the human resources and other administrative departments.

Bruni has been working for Elmore & Peterson since May 2014. She began as a receptionist where she would be the first person seen by clients or spoken to on the phone and provided assistance to the immigration department. Now, she is a Legal Secretary where she works closely with attorney Abigail Peterson and represents the firm in various areas of the state through the mobile Mexican Consulate. Bruni is a tremendous asset to Elmore and Peterson Law Firm.
